Our guest this week for the Music-Kin Spotlight is composer and saxophonist Anthony Cekay, Page4Music's Co-Founder/Creative Director.

In the video, Anthony will share with Music-Kin news and highlights from his most recent work, The Spectacular War Museum, a suite of music for nine musicians. The piece combines the power and spectacle of a jazz quintet with the subtlety and precision of a string quartet. The Spectacular War Museum is based on a short cycle of poems Anthony wrote in 2005, which tell of the life and times of the devil, humanized and brought to life on earth. When performed at length, the suite includes eight hours of music for jazz quintet combined with string quartet.

During the city-wide Make Music New York on June 21, Anthony will be the host for Music-Kin stage at the Hive NYC.
